Built for large Windermere enclosures

Windermere homes tend to have big pool enclosures: tall mansard or dome roofs, long lanais and screened areas that cover summer kitchens and spas. Replacing a cage that size is a major, permit-heavy construction project. Restoring it keeps the aluminum structure you already have and gives you a like-new finish without the demolition. We have restored enclosures in the 34786 area, including some of the largest cages we have worked on.

What we see on Windermere lakefront homes

The Butler Chain of Lakes is a big part of why people love living here, and it is also hard on a screen enclosure:

  • Wind off the water. Homes on Lake Butler, Lake Down and the rest of the chain take strong gusts during summer storms. Screen panels stretch, spline pops loose and roof panels are usually the first to tear.
  • Constant humidity and morning dew. Moisture sits on the frame longer near the lakes, which speeds up corrosion on standard screws and fasteners.
  • Mature oaks and landscaping. Falling branches, acorns and leaf litter puncture roof panels, and tannins and pollen stain the frame.
  • High expectations. In gated communities like Isleworth, Keene’s Pointe and Lake Butler Sound, the enclosure is part of a carefully kept property, and HOA standards reflect that.

Our services in Windermere

Pool cage restoration. This is our most requested service in Windermere. We remove the old screen, replace rusted fasteners, clean and mask the entire area, then apply a premium marine-grade, 100% water-borne acrylic coating with a commercial sprayer. The finish is built to last roughly 10 years and is covered by our 3-year warranty. Details: Pool Cage Restoration.

Rescreening. On a large cage, a full rescreen often makes more sense than patching. Choose standard 18×14 fiberglass, no-see-um mesh for evenings by the lake, Glas-Shield or bronzetone. See Pool Screen Rescreening.

Storm and branch damage repair. Single torn panels or a damaged roof section can usually be fixed quickly. See Pool Screen Repair.

Pool deck staining. Pair your cage restoration with a refreshed, slip-resistant deck. See Pool Deck Staining.

Careful work around a finished property

We mask the pool, deck, pavers, outdoor kitchen and the side of the house before any coating is sprayed, so overspray does not end up where it should not. A water-borne acrylic applied by sprayer also avoids the brush lines and streaks that oil-based coatings can leave. We are fully bonded and insured, and if your community asks for proof of insurance before gate access, we can provide it.

Color choices and HOA approval

Bronze and white are the most common enclosure colors in Windermere, but we have a custom color deck if your community allows other shades. Changing color usually needs architectural approval, so ask your HOA first. We can supply the color name and a written scope of work for your application.

Frequently asked questions

Can you restore a very large or tall pool enclosure?

Yes. Large Windermere cages are a big part of our work. Restoration keeps the existing aluminum frame, so even big enclosures can usually be restored for about 60% less than replacement.

How long does the coating last after a restoration?

We use a premium marine-grade, 100% water-borne acrylic coating with a lifespan of roughly 10 years, and our work carries a 3-year warranty.

Which screen is best for a lakefront home?

Many lakefront homeowners choose no-see-um mesh to keep tiny insects out in the evenings. Standard 18×14 fiberglass, Glas-Shield and bronzetone are also available. We will help you choose at the estimate.

Will coating get on my pool or pavers?

We mask the pool, deck, pavers and nearby walls before spraying, so overspray stays off your property.

Do you work in gated communities like Isleworth and Keene’s Pointe?

Yes. We work with your gate and HOA requirements. Let us know any access rules when you book.

Ready for a like-new enclosure?
